Part 2: Making Greek Yogurt

Part 2: Making Greek Yogurt

Watch our first video on how we make yogurt. Once your yogurt is made, here are the directions on how to turn it into thick, creamy Greek yogurt.

  1. Gently transfer the yogurt to your nut milk bag with a bowl underneath to catch the whey. (The way you transfer the yogurt into your nut milk bag is very important. You want to make sure that you very gently spoon the yogurt into the bag using a large spoon or scoop and place it in the bottom of the bag as it sits in the bowl so as to prevent the yogurt from liquifying. Just make sure you place it in very slowly and gently.
  2. Pull the drawstring tight and hang the bag over the bowl on your cupboard knob to catch they whey.
  3. Let it set for 1-3 hours until thickness is desired. The longer is sits the thicker it will be.
  4. Now it is ready to be transferred to your containers of choice!

Will last in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
