Spirulina Coconut matcha Latte

Ingredients: (1 serving)

Matcha Layer

  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 2–3 oz warm water
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup, to taste
  • 6–8 oz coconut milk
  • Ice

Blue Spirulina Coconut Cold Foam

  • 2 oz canned coconut cream
  • 1/2 tsp Ellie’s Best Blue Spirulina
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste (or ¼ tsp vanilla extract)
  • 1 tbsp coconut milk (if needed to thin slightly)

Instructions:

  1. Whisk the matcha, warm water, and maple syrup together until smooth and frothy.
  2. Fill a glass with ice and pour in the coconut milk.
  3. Pour the matcha mixture over the milk.
  4. In a small cup, combine the coconut cream, blue spirulina, maple syrup, vanilla bean paste, and coconut milk if needed.
  5. Froth until smooth and creamy.
  6. Pour the blue spirulina cold foam over the matcha.
  7. Sip and enjoy!
