Spirulina Coconut matcha Latte
Ingredients: (1 serving)
Matcha Layer
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- 2–3 oz warm water
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup, to taste
- 6–8 oz coconut milk
- Ice
Blue Spirulina Coconut Cold Foam
- 2 oz canned coconut cream
- 1/2 tsp Ellie’s Best Blue Spirulina
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup, to taste
- 1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste (or ¼ tsp vanilla extract)
- 1 tbsp coconut milk (if needed to thin slightly)
Instructions:
- Whisk the matcha, warm water, and maple syrup together until smooth and frothy.
- Fill a glass with ice and pour in the coconut milk.
- Pour the matcha mixture over the milk.
- In a small cup, combine the coconut cream, blue spirulina, maple syrup, vanilla bean paste, and coconut milk if needed.
- Froth until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the blue spirulina cold foam over the matcha.
- Sip and enjoy!
