Mushroom Extract Morning Oats


  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water or milk (coconut water works wonderfully!)
  • 1 teaspoon mushroom extract powder (reishi, chaga, or your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • Toppings: strawberries, blueberries, honey, and extra cinnamon (customize with your favorite toppings)


  1. In a saucepan, add coconut water (or your choice of water/milk) and a pinch of salt. Bring it to a boil.

  2. Once boiling, add the rolled oats and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the oatmeal reaches your desired level of creaminess and thickness. Stir occasionally.

  3. While the oats are cooking, prepare the flavor mixture. In a small bowl, combine honey, ground cinnamon, and mushroom extract powder. Mix until well combined.

  4. Once the oats are ready, remove the saucepan from heat.

  5. Stir in the mushroom-flavor mixture and mix thoroughly to incorporate the delicious flavors.

  6. Top your Mushroom Extract Oatmeal with fresh strawberries, blueberries, an extra sprinkle of cinnamon, and a drizzle of honey for added sweetness.
