Mushroom-Infused Black Tea


  • 1 black tea bag or 1 teaspoon loose black tea leaves
  • 1 cup hot water (not boiling, around 190°F or 88°C)
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon mushroom extract powder (reishi, chaga, or your choice)
  • Honey or sweetener of your choice (optional)


  1. Boil water and let it cool slightly until it reaches the desired temperature, approximately 190°F (88°C).

  2. Place a black tea bag or loose black tea leaves in your teacup.

  3. Pour the hot water over the tea bag or leaves.

  4. Allow the tea to steep for about 3-5 minutes, or longer if you prefer a stronger flavor. Adjust the steeping time to your taste.

  5. Once the tea is brewed to your liking, remove the tea bag or strain the leaves if you used loose tea.

  6. Add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of mushroom extract powder to your tea. Adjust the amount based on your preference for mushroom flavor.

  7. If desired, sweeten your tea with honey or your preferred sweetener.

  8. Stir well until the mushroom extract powder is fully dissolved.

  9. Allow your Mushroom-Infused Black Tea to cool slightly before sipping and enjoying the unique combination of black tea and the potential health benefits of mushroom extract!
