Mushroom Date Bark


  • 1 cup of pitted dates (about 10-12 dates)
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter 
  • 1/2 tsp mushroom extract powder
  • 1/2 cup of nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, or pecans), roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips or chunks 
  • A pinch of salt (optional)


  1. Prepare a Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside,    

  2. Mix and Press: Melt the chocolate chips and add your mushroom extract powder. 

  3. Form the Bark: Lay your dates down on the parchment paper, lining the sheet with it. Layer the dates with peanut butter, any nuts you'd like, and your mushroom chocolate mixture. Top with more nuts or granola. 

  4. Chill: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 1-2 hours, or until the chocolate has set and become firm.

  5. Cut into Bars: Once the chocolate has hardened, remove it from the refrigerator and use a sharp knife to cut it into bars or squares of your desired size.

  6. Serve: Your Date Bark is now ready to enjoy! It's a perfect energy-boosting snack or a sweet treat.

  7. Storage: Store any leftover Date Bark in an airtight container in the refrigerator to keep it fresh.
