Frosted apple donuts
Ingredients:
- 2 large apples
- 1/4 cup nut/seed butter or cream cheese
- Toppings of your choice
- Ellies Best beet root powder
Directions:
- Slice the tops and bottoms off of the apples. Then slice the remaining part of the apples into 2-3 rounds.
- Use an apple corer, cutter, knife, or melon scoop, to create a circle in the middle.
- If not eating the apple donuts immediately, soak in water with lemon juice for several minutes. Pat dry.
- Spread nut butter and/or cream cheese (mix in Ellies Best beet powder to make the pink naturally), then add your toppings!
