Frosted apple donuts

Ingredients:

  • 2 large apples
  • 1/4 cup nut/seed butter or cream cheese
  • Toppings of your choice 
  • Ellies Best beet root powder 

 

Directions:



  1. Slice the tops and bottoms off of the apples. Then slice the remaining part of the apples into 2-3 rounds.
  2. Use an apple corer, cutter, knife, or melon scoop, to create a circle in the middle.
  3. If not eating the apple donuts immediately, soak in water with lemon juice for several minutes. Pat dry.
  4. Spread nut butter and/or cream cheese (mix in Ellies Best beet powder to make the pink naturally), then add your toppings!
