Chai Mushroom Green Tea


Ingredients:

 

  • 1 organic green tea bag
  • 8–10 oz water
  • ½ tsp mushroom superfood blend (Ellie’s Best Vital 7 Blend)
  • Splash of milk of choice
  • Spice mix (adjust to taste):
    • Cinnamon powder (double the amount compared to others)
    • Nutmeg powder
    • Clove powder
    • Tiny sprinkle of ground cardamom (strong flavor)
    • Ginger powder (optional, but recommended)

Directions:

 

  1. Bring 8–10 oz of water to a boil in a small pot or teapot.
  2. Add the green tea bag and let simmer for 5–10 minutes.
  3. While tea is steeping, prepare your spice mix by combining cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, cardamom, and ginger powder in desired proportions.
  4. Remove tea bag and pour the brewed tea into a cup.
  5. Stir in ½ tsp mushroom blend powder, a splash of milk, and a sprinkle of the spice mix.
  6. Mix well and enjoy warm (or iced!).
