Valentines Day Bark

Ingredients:

  • Strawberries, washed and dried (I used 7)
  • Runny peanut butter (I used 1/2 cup organic peanut butter)
  • Chocolate (I used 1 cup melted dark chocolate)
  • Pretzels (I used 4 grain-free pretzels)
  • White chocolate + beet root powder from Ellie’s Best for the pink chocolate
  • Natural pink sprinkles

Instructions:

 

  1. Cut the stems off of the strawberries and cut into even slices (you may want to cut a little bit off the rounded sides so they lay flat). Arrange the strawberry slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Spread peanut butter over the strawberries so that they are completely covered. Place in the freezer for 15 minutes to harden.
  3. Pour the chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread out to cover evenly.
  4. Before the chocolate hardens, top with pretzels and sprinkles.
  5. Fill the pretzels with pink chocolate to look like a heart. Place in the freezer for at least 1 hour, slice into pieces, and enjoy!
