Homemade Coconut Milk
Ingredients:
- 2 cups organic coconut flakes
- 1–2 dates (pitted, depending on desired sweetness)
- 1 ½ cups water
- Pinch of sea salt
- Ellie’s Best Nut Milk Bag
- Cold brew of choice
Instructions:
- Add coconut flakes, dates, water, and sea salt to a blender or food processor.
- Blend until fully combined and creamy.
- Place your nut milk bag over a bowl or jar and pour the mixture through.
- Squeeze the bag thoroughly to extract all the liquid.
- (Optional) Save the leftover pulp for use in smoothies, granola, or baking.
- Transfer the coconut milk to an airtight container and store in the fridge.
- When ready to enjoy, pour cold brew into a glass of your choice and top with the fresh coconut milk.
