Festive Mushroom Brownies

Festive Mushroom Brownies

For the Brownies:
* 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
* 2 cups granulated sugar (can be subbed with monkfruit)
* 4 large eggs
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 cup all-purpose flour (can be subbed as gf)
* 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 2-3 teaspoons Ellie’s Best Vital 7 Blend Mushroom Extract Powder

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x9-inch (23x23 cm) baking pan.
2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove it from the heat and allow it to cool slightly.
3. Stir in the granulated sugar and mix until well combined.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, and cocoa powder.
6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter and sugar mixture, mixing until just combined.
7. Incorporate the mushroom extract into the brownie batter, stirring until well distributed.
8. If desired, fold in chopped nuts or any other mix-ins at this stage.
9. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
10. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, check at 15 mins to see if the top has turned into a crust.
11. Remove the brownies from the oven and allow them to cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool some more. (They’re yummiest while warm)
12. Once cooled, cut the mushroom extract brownies into squares or your desired serving size.
13. Serve and enjoy your homemade mushroom extract brownies!

These homemade brownies incorporate the potential benefits of mushroom extract while providing a delightful treat. The mushroom extract adds a unique flavor profile to the traditional brownie recipe.
