Cinnamon Vanilla Almond Milk

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raw almonds

  • 3 cups fresh drinking water

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 3–4 tablespoons honey (to taste)

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

  • Ellie’s Best Nut Milk Bag 

Instructions:

  1. Pre-Soak the Almonds
    Place the raw almonds in a bowl and cover with water. Soak for at least 3 hours or overnight for best results.

  2. Rinse the Almonds
    Drain and rinse the soaked almonds using a fine mesh strainer until the water runs clear.

  3. Blend the Ingredients
    In a blender, combine the soaked almonds, fresh drinking water, cinnamon, honey, and vanilla. Blend until smooth (about 30 seconds to 1 minute).

  4. Strain the Almond Milk
    Place the nut milk bag over a clean bowl. Pour the blended mixture into it and wring out the liquid until all the almond milk is separated from the pulp.

  5. Store and Enjoy
    Transfer the strained almond milk to a bottle with a lid. Store in the refrigerator and enjoy within 5–7 days.
