Butterfly Pea Flower + Protein Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 2-3 frozen bananas (I used 2 1/2 bananas)
- 3 dates (pitted)
- 1-2 tsp vanilla extract
- Sprinkle of cinnamon
- Big scoop of vanilla protein powder
- 2 tsp Butterfly Pea Flower powder from Ellie’s Best
- Almond milk (as much as you’d like depending on how you like consistency)
- Optional: vanilla flavored coconut yogurt for sides of glasses
Instructions:

1. If your dates are hard, soak in hot water for 15 minutes before adding in blender.
2. In a blender, add frozen bananas, dates, vanilla, cinnamon, vanilla protein powder, butterfly pea flower powder, almond milk.
3. Blend until smooth and the consistency that you want.
4. Optional but add vanilla flavored coconut yogurt on the sides of the glass cup with a frother.
5. Add smoothie into a glass cup and enjoy!
