Cinnamon Fig Smoothie Bowl


  • 1 cup of butterfly pea flower powder
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 fresh fig, stemmed and quartered
  • Ice cubes (optional)
  • Edible flowers for garnish (optional)


  1. Start by brewing a cup of butterfly pea flower tea and allowing it to cool. You can find dried butterfly pea flowers at most specialty tea stores.

  2. In a blender, combine the cooled butterfly pea powder, ripe banana, Greek yogurt, ground cinnamon, honey (or maple syrup), and fresh fig.

  3. If you prefer a colder smoothie, you can add a handful of ice cubes to the blender as well.

  4. Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy.

  5. Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or cinnamon level to your preference by adding more honey or cinnamon if needed.

  6. Pour the butterfly pea smoothie into glasses and garnish with edible flowers for an extra touch of elegance (optional).
