
Creamy Almond & Cacao Protein Smoothie

Almond Milk:

2 cups coconut water

1 cup raw almonds

Smoothie:

3 small to medium fresh bananas

1 cup chopped fresh pineapple

1 Tbsp homemade raw almond butter

1 Tbsp hemp seeds
-
2 cups homemade almond milk (from earlier)

1 leaf dinosaur kale (tough stem removed)

1 handful baby spinach

2 Tbsp creamy cacao protein powder

Toppings:

Black raspberries

Cacao nibs

Directions

Make the almond milk: Blend coconut water and almonds until smooth, then strain through a nut milk bag. Save the pulp for other recipes or almond meal.

Prepare the smoothie: Chill ingredients beforehand for a colder smoothie.

Blend bananas, pineapple, almond butter, hemp seeds, almond milk, kale, spinach, and protein powder until smooth.

Pour into a jar and top with black raspberries and cacao nibs. Enjoy!
