The Best Hot Chocolate
- 2 cups homemade milk
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp maple or agave syrup
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of crushed peppermint candy cane
- Non-dairy whip cream
- Warm milk in a saucepot over medium-low heat and whisk in cocoa powder, sweetener, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
- Top with non-dairy whipped cream and crushed candy canes.
