Steel Cut Oats


  • 1/3 cup steel-cut oats
  • 1/4c grated zucchini
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • Handful of raisins
  • 1/2 banana
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground flax
  • 1/4 cup homemade oat milk
  • 1/2 scoop of vanilla protein
  • Strawberries
  • Raspberries
  • Banana
  • Cacao nibs
  • Hemp seeds


  1. I let 1/3 cup steel cut oats soak in hot water overnight
  2. In the morning, combine the oats, 1/4c grated zucchini, 1 tbsp chia seeds, handful of raisins and 1/2 banana with 3/4 cup water.
  3. Cook on med-high heat once it starts boiling and begins to thicken, add 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp ground flax, and 1/4 cup homemade oat milk to make it creamy.
  4. Once most of the liquid has been absorbed, add 1/2 scoop of vanilla protein and more milk if you need
  5. Take off the heat and top with strawberries, raspberries, banana, cacao nibs, and hemp seeds.
