Basic Almond Milk



  • 1 cup raw almonds, soaked overnight
  • 3 cups of filtered water
  • 2 Medjool dates pitted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract or powder
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • Pinch of sea salt

For optional add-ins, try one of these:

  • 2 tbsp cacao for chocolate milk
  • 1 tbsp of maca to support hormones
  • 1/2 cup berries for an antioxidant-rich milk
  • 1 tsp turmeric for an anti-inflammatory milk
  • 1 tsp matcha for an energy-boosting milk
  • 1 tsp reishi for an immunity milk


  1. Add all ingredients, plus any additional add-ins to a high-speed blender and blend until creamy and smooth.⠀
  2. Strain using the Bigger Better Nut Milk Bag. Squeeze until all of the liquid is extracted then discard the pulp, or save for adding to baked goods.
  3. Transfer milk to a jar and refrigerate. Remember, there are no preservatives, so it will only last 3-4 days.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
